Nature Versus Machine

I played around with some high-resolution brushes and came up with a few original character concepts. I pushed the polarity of the two teams, giving each side a distinct visual direction.

It's hard to keep the designs simple, since the pixel artist in me wants to control every nuance of each brush-stroke.
